Eco Council Reap Rewards of their Efforts

The recent Green Day organised by the Eco Council enabled them to raise funds for an expert to assist them with the school garden and grounds. 

Local expert gardener , Jonathan Harty,  spent a day with the Eco Council and the children from KS2 demonstrating  and advising on how to sew vegetable and fruit crops in our school garden.  The pupils were also brought on a tour of our school grounds, where he pointed out and identified the huge abundance of plants all around us.  The children were very excited to learn that we have edible tree leaves in our playground!
