Firemen Visit KS2
22nd Sep 2016
Recently, Miss Largey’s class had a safety talk from the Fire Service. The firemen highlighted the risks and dangers around the home and instructed the children on what they should do in a fire emergency. The children were made aware of the dangers of candles and unattended chip pans. They were told to discuss with their families the importance of having working smoke alarms and an escape route plan. Afterwards the children were allowed to look around the fire engine and have their picture taken with the crew.
