First Aid Training

Key Stage 2 enjoyed an informative, practical First Aid Course with Geraldine, from the Red Cross. She explained the varied role of the Red Cross, working in crisis situations around the world and locally. The children learned what to do if an accident happens at home or outside in the countryside if you haven't phone reception to call for help. She discussed falls and breaks, bleeds, burns, choking, collapse and unconsciousness. The children used Little Annie to practice CPR and using a defibrillator. The children will share what they've learned at home with their family.
