Congratulations to pupils from KS2 in St. Joseph's Primary School who have a Hedgerow Hedges competition from Keep N.I tiday and Moy Park.
As part of the biodiversity recovery project, the pupils had to demonstrate why they should win a 20m hedge with over 100 small trees.
They included a map of the school with existing wildlife and habitats marked. They provided a written explaination clearly identifying the reasons why they believed they were worthy of this amazing investment in our school grounds.
The judges were impressed with their efforts and selected our entry as one of eleven winning schools in Northern Ireland!
