Maths Week 2021

All pupils of St. Joseph's P.S. enjoyed participating in fun events during Maths Week Ireland. The highlight of the week was an outdoor maths trail, using our beautiful grounds. The children worked in groups to develop skills in measuring, estimating, calculating, exploring shapes and patterns in the natural environment. This was an excellent opportunity for the children to develop their problem solving strategies and processing skills in real life maths contexts.
