P1-4 on Tree Hunt In School Grounds
14th Sep 2017
As part of their World Around Us topic on 'Trees', P1- 4 went on a 'tree hunt' around the school. St Joseph's is very lucky to have such a rich and diverse environment which provides the children with a wealth of opportunity to learn about tress, shrubs and other wildlife. The children were able to identify a range of trees, including oaks, sycamores, limes, elder, ash, yew and beech trees. Of particular interest to the children was the minibeast hotel located at the back of the school grounds. A great start to our topic work!
