Pointillism Art Lesson in our school grounds
6th Sep 2024
What a glorious day it was today! P5-7 took advantage of the good weather to examine closely the wildflower beds they'd planted in June. What an array of beautiful flowers have grown over the holidays! Nasturtium, scented sweetpea, cornflowers and marigolds to name a few.
The pupils enjoyed sitting in the shade and experimenting with pointillism, an art technique where you don't make line marks, only points. Everyone loved the session and felt really relaxed and happy. We will hopefully get the weather to finish our art work next week.
What a lovely start to our new school year!
