River Study Workshop

We recently enjoyed a River Study workshop, hosted by Stephen and Jodie from Speedwell Trust.
The interactive workshop included identifying different animals and creatures whose habitat is the river or riverside. The children completed sorting and classification activities and learned how each eco system is interconnected.
This work was particularly relevant as we had visited the Blackwater river in Caledon recently.
The children are more aware of the delicate balance of river life systems and our need to protect our local environment.
