Road Safety Programme

Congratulations to our wonderful pupils who have successfully completed the second stage of the Road Safety Programme run by the Department of Infrastructure.
Over the past number of weeks, the children have engaged in a number of workshops focusing on how to stay safe as a pedestrian.  The programme culminated with a walk around Caledon village, practising how to cross the roads safely.  
Huge thanks go to Mr. Gareth McIlwaine from the DoI who facilitated this last session.  The aim of this programme is to reduce the number of fatalities of young children on our roads.  We hope the boys and girls are now well versed in how to cross roads safely.
