World Book Day Celebrations 2023

We had a great day celebrating World Book Day in school, demonstrating the passion and love we all have for books in St Joseph's. 📚

The children enjoyed an array of activities including 'hot seating' where they were 'interviewed' by Mrs Mckenna as the character they were representing. The staff joined in too and Miss Largey was questioned as her character - the granny from George's Marvellous Medicine.
They also enjoyed Shared Reading where an older pupil was paired with a younger child to share a book.

The day ended with a 'Big Fat Literacy Quiz' . In a closely fought contest, the World Book Day Club, emerged victorious.
A great day was had by all
