World Book Day Celebrations

St Joseph’s pupils engaged in a day full  of activities and fun for World Book Day. Children came to school dressed as their favourite character from fiction.  From ‘Where’s Wally ?’ to ‘Gangsta Granny’, imagination, flair and ingenuity were clearly on display.  Although all of the costumes were brilliant, special praise must go to the children who spent hours researching and making their costumes for the event. 

The younger children enjoyed being read to by a reading buddy and the older children created very artistic bookmarks.  Huge thanks to the School Council who organised these events.

In the afternoon, the P3-7 children had a fun Big Fat Book Quiz.  Congratulations to the Grfynndor team who won.  We hope you enjoy viewing our great day in the gallery.
