Visiting the newborn lambs

Today the pupils of St. Joseph's P.S. had a very enjoyable visit to the lambing sheds on Caledon Estate. The children saw newly born lambs, twins and triplets.
They were allowed to hold lambs and pet them. We also visited the nursery that week old lambs move on to before they go out into the field.
A big thank you to Andrew for taking time out from his busy farming schedule to show us around and for telling us so many interesting facts about sheep.
